Valentine's Story

Hey! I'm back with my stories! This time, Valentine's theme! So here it goes:

My Valentine <3

I have been best friends with Fabian for over 2 years now! Every year he gives me sweet, adorable presents such as charms, cards, and little stuffed animals. I, Nina, have never given him any cute presents as that. Never. Am I that of a bad friend? So, Valentine's Day was coming up. Mocking me all these years with the mushy-gushy faces with the boyfriends and girlfriends kind of things.

There I sat on my chair, trying to think of a gift. Hmm....what should I give Fabian? I mean last year, I gave him a stupid, crappy clay thing, which was supposed to be a heart. This is so hard! Pity my stupid mind. Oh, maybe I can give him a little friendship bracelet with hearts around it....I don't know!!!!! I stayed up all night to make Fabian the friendship bracelet (I'm really slow at this stuff, so yeah). In the morning, my mom found me with my head on my desk. "Nina! Wake up! It's almost breakfast time!" Mom said shaking my shoulders.

My eyes fluttered open. I held the bracelet in my hands and put it in this heart-shaped box. I got ready, had breakfast and waited at the bus stop. "Hey hon, sup?" A guy said to his girlfriend with his hands covering her eyes. I looked at them in disgust. There the bus was, slowly moving up. I walked on the bus and sat down quietly, grabbing the heart shaped box. I hope he likes it! Although it looks a little crooked. I pulled the string slowly, staring at it. "YO!" A guy screamed behind me, I lost my place and yanked the string out.

Why'd you do that Patrick!??? I screamed at him.

I thought it'd be funny. Got a problem?

My face turned red as if it were boiling. Just wait Nina, we're almost here. Ugh, that piece of- I hesitated. Patrick made me break my bracelet. The one that I was going to give to Fabian! Urg......

Finally, I got to the school, jumping out of the bus. Fabian was there waiting for me, like he always did. I smiled. He smiled back. I gave him his gift and said "Sorry, it broke..."

"Its okay." He said putting the box in his back pack. We walked to all of our classes together.

When school ended

I walked out of the school, along with Fabian. But suddenly, he stopped. I turned around gestured him over. He shook his head no, and came closer to me. He held both of my hands up. "You are my best friend." He started. "We've been best friends for over a year now, and I feel like you know me. We sometimes fight, but you've always forgiven me. You are the best person that I've met in my entire life. And I don't want to let you go." Tears came down my face slowly. "Nina, will you go out with me?" He looked in my eyes. I looked back. I nodded and said "Yes, definitely." And that was my gift, for Valentine's Day.
