So here is a story that I wrote about World Hunger. I hope you like my story and I hope you get inspired by it.

How I Can Help End Hunger

Hunger. Think about it. People all over the world are suffering with no food, starving- even causing death. It’s time to fight hunger and take action. Some people even have to dig through the trashcan to see if people have thrown away leftovers so they can eat it. If you were very hungry and had no food to eat at all, how would you feel?

Why should I help end hunger? Everyone in my community is important. No matter how poor or how rich, we all need food to stay healthy and prevent diseases. I also learned to treat others how I wanted to be treated. It is also sad to see children not being able to eat because, she/he may have diseases/medical problems because he/she probably didn’t have the right amount of nutrients that they needed.

There are also people in my community living in shelters with little to eat. Luckily, there are people who donate food and even money to help the struggling families. I can help end hunger in my community by:

• Donating food to shelters.
• Raising money to donate to charities.
• Make everyone be more aware about hunger- spread the news!

Donating food to shelters can help fight hunger by feeding the poor, innocent people. I think donating healthy food would make a better choice because it helps you stay fit. If everyone had all of the food they needed, the world would be a better place. That is the main goal for me helping end hunger… food!

Raising money to donate to charities can help because if people have money, they could buy food. The way I can raise money is start a bake sale or a lemonade stand. The more services I provide, the more money I receive to donate for charities. As far as I know, everyone needs money.

Making everyone be more aware can help hunger. Well, why? The more people being aware of starvation actually increasing, the more donations shelters/ charities they receive. I can make everyone more aware by making posters or flyers then, hand them out to people.

I’ve been inspired by the song: “We Can Change The World” by Bridget Mendler. As she sang the words “We’re going to do the little things and the big things and do everything that we can, cause we can, we can change the world” she made me realize that we can actually make a difference in this world-especially in my community to start.

Hunger is a huge worldwide problem. Not everyone has food. Appreciate what you have. I can help hunger and change the world- everyone can. If I try my best, I can donate many foods and money in my local community and try to help end hunger. If everyone in this world had food, I would be very happy. We can all help end hunger one person at a time!
