Slade's pressed harder on my neck.
I desperately tried to get away from his grasp.
'' So, what do you think? '' He exclaimed.
Robin was still, his eyes still big. I've never
seen his like this.
'' No? Okay, well I'll kill her then!'' he threatened.
'' No...'' Robin muttered. '' I'll...do...it..''
'' Very well then, '' Slade said. '' Here's the little sparrow.
Slade let go, and I gasped for air. Kneeling down, I looked up.
Slade was looking directly at Robin. There was my chance.
I reached into my belt, and grabbed my knife.
I stuck his leg. He quickly looked at me.
'' Oh that's how you want to play?'' He teased.
I jumped to my feet. He tried to punch me, but I
blocked at attempted to return the favor. Wrong move
though, he grabbed my arm and flipped me over.
'' Heh,heh'' Slade laughed.
Aqualad took his water bearers from his water backpack.
He ran towards Slade, and delivered an attack.
He dodged it, and punched Aqualad right on the head.
Aqualad fell to the ground, knocked out.
I noticed Megan disappeared. What a coward.
'' It's just me and you Robin!'' Slade yelled.
I made a fist.
'' No it's not!'' I yelled back.
I stood up, and got into a fighting position.
Once again it looked like Slade smiled
under his mask.
He threw his knife. It struck me on the arm ripping my
glove and tearing my skin. I paid more attention to my
arm than Slade. So, my punishment was a whip
in the face, and everything got darker and darker
until I blacked out.
