There is no point to prove. you are NOT going to find a teenager smarter than an adult unless that adult never went to school. Adults have been through more shit than kids, they know and understand more. Yes, there may be a teenager who knows more about a certain subject than an adult, maybe about technology, but in the real world, experience overthrows age by far. It doesn't matter if you have a 15 year old genius, they will never outsmart an adult, because they don't have the age, the experience, or the wisdom that adults do.

It's not just about going to school, and not even about technology, it's the human brain, not programmed to learn things at a certain point in time, learning doesn't HAVE to come from just life, it can come from anywhere or anything. What you're saying is just your opinion, and if someone does the studies, they could easily prove you wrong. Just because adults have gone through more in life doesn't mean that they are automatically smarter, and the child doesn't even have to be a genius. What you're trying to say is that the only way to get smarter is to be older and in school, which isn't necessarily true, because even the most uneducated person could outsmart someone much more educated if they had the brainpower.

And actually, a 15 year old child genius could, in fact, outsmart an adult, and the reason is that their brain would be more developed than the adults, thus making them smarter.

1) OP, both your accounts will be banned since your original one was not deleted or banned. Your parents cannot delete accounts on OMGPOP unless a CREW member is your parent and that is probably a 0.000000001 chance. Thus after this, it'll be banned. If you want to return, you will PM a CREW member and explain your situation.

2) Why are we de-railing threads? This is a 'Say Hello' section and your duty, as a poster, is to SAY HELLO and leave. If you have any further problems with the OP, use the PM feature. Unnecessary de-railing leads to unnecessary fights especially in this situation. Some of you know the OP from before and her actions have proved that she cannot deduce logical conclusions or listen, for that matter, to advice given to her so I understand your frustrations and your need to tell her off. This, however, is a Say Hello section and if you can't keep it to that, then please don't post.

3) As for the subject that is being debated, the simple fact is that nobody, and I mean nobody, knows anything for a fact. These arguments are opinions AT BEST because each individual is different in their own way. There is no right or wrong answer because age, experience, and even both all help with maturity and wisdom.

Teens, you don't know what adults have been through until you go through it first-hand. You speak from your experiences but remember, adults have seen MORE than you ever will because, unfortunately for you, they were born before you and due to that, they will always have the upper hand.

Adults, times have changed since we were all teenagers and today's teens may, for a fact, know more than us but it's age and wisdom that forces youngin's to respect and not question ones who are older. I respect that because, as adults, we try to share our lessons learnt with the younger ones so they won't make the same mistakes. Let me break it to you: your opinions are worthless at this point because most teenagers think they're invincible and can do anything. Let them think that way! It's the only way they'll ever learn -- it's the only way we ever learnt, yes? They will come around eventually and understand our POV's but until then, let them be young and foolish since that's what childhood and adolescence is for.

So, be happy, everyone! There's no need to banter over things that need to be naturally resolved. Just keep your posts to Hello's and Welcome's. The rest is just not worth your time or energy.
