Death is inevitable so he would've left this place at one point or another, unfortunately. The more important thing to remember, however, is his life and how it affected the people around him. He clearly made a big impact if you are sad to see him go so focus on that and celebrate all the good things he has accomplished. It's sad that he won't be there physically but he still lives on through memories, deeds, stories, songs etc. You just need to gather all those things up and you'll see that he's there, just not in your face.

As Snowy said, it's okay be to sad and crying really does help your soul heal so do it if you have to but always remember that he's never ever truly gone. Hope you feel better!

I believe there's a saying "absence makes abstinence" something around those lines
well with the more that he is absent, you will learn to appreciate him more, you'll remember the good times, the smiles, the laughs, the lessons and take them and bring them into your life and make your life more enjoyable
I understand it's sad to see a family member go, I remember last year, my great grandmother passed away, she was 97; I was really sad, mostly because I didn't really get to spend much time with her, but her passing is what made me want to lean Arabic
she could only speak that, and I figured, who knows how many other people that I'll meet who only speak Arabic, and if I don't, I won't be able to have a proper relationship with them as I would if I spoke Arabic

I'm not sure if I'm making total sense or if I stayed on topic really... but I guess that's not necessary, just know that youre not alone, that you have people there for you if you need it, and that he will always be with you, in your heart.

Thank you p05hh, I find it funny how when someone moves on, you begin remembering them in all the little things you do.

and Aussie, your story is really amazing and true also, my grandfather used to play the violin and he gave it to my dad before he passed away and now I'm just so inspired to just pick it up and start learning on my own. Your story is really unique though, I find it so cool that she knew only Arabic. (:

and Wordlover, I'll make sure to keep that in mind. (:

Thanks a lot guys, it's nice to know that a lot of you care enough to reply. <3
