The one you have now or had.
I really need a job
I'm pregnant though so a lot of jobs are limiting to me, I already applied to all the maternity stores near my area!

Well, how old are you?
I'm going to move this to real-life advice![]()

Tumblr is life. Which is probably why you don't see me around here often anymore. sorry.
If you're pregnant, I don't think you should work. Having pains during work? Do you really want that?
My husband think's I should, because two salaries is better then one.
I don't think It matter's how old I am, I seriously can't keep track of my age myself.
I never celebrate my birthday's anymore. Make's me feel so old. I graduated from college for a bachelors in fashion & management. But It's pretty useless to go to college from what I know of it has never gotten me a job yet.
Well, If you're a fashion person, you should choose a job that doesn't involve moving a lot. You could work at a office where you design stuff. I don't know...
I got my job by visiting a job fair specialized for university graduates in natural science, informatics and economics.
The job fair was very useful to get in contact to companies looking for employees in a rather informal way. But though it payed off to come there prepared, having some CV certificates to hand people who were interested. Then interviews, at the second interview at my employer I got the job offered directly.
Your situation is probably much different from mine, hence I'll focus on more general patterns:
You are looking for a job and companies are looking for employees so its about finding out for them which employee matches and for you which employer matches. Thats why it is important knowing your strengths and beeing able to convince other people that you are a good choice.
Obviously its easier if you really are a good choice for a job its easier to convinve someone, but to do so its almost necessary to know yourself that you are a good choice. Knowing what you are good at and and which kind of job you would do well might sound trivial but it isnt.
Also prepare for questions you might get asked, of course you cant plan everything in advance, but having not thought about a question you are asked with e.g. 50% probability would just be insanely stupid and only few people are looking for employees behaving stupidly. But don't worry, there is no limit about how much you can practice, hence it might be a good idea to not start applying the favorite job first but practice first with others that dont appear extremely suitable.
Being pregnant makes everything much harder. Who will take care of the child - its grandparents? As an employer I would worry about you maybe not being able to focus on the job or quitting it just after some time when you got used to it and more productive than just when beginning.
On the other hand also other young woman applying just might get pregnant at a random time. Your advantage about non-pregnant applicants might be that you are in a clear situation with a clear plan.
You wrote "But It's pretty useless to go to college from what I know of it has never gotten me a job yet."
Going to college doesnt get you a job but what you did there might. What is your personal gain from that college, what might be interesting about it for potential employers. Of course, for example, that you did it to the end and graduated. You showed that you are capable to do such even if there might be times when it was harder or parts not as interesting as others. Good grades surely are a plus too, if you have. Partially good grades can support you in saying this is where your interests are. Its unlikely to find a job where you exactly need that learning matter from college, and it would be limiting to look only for such. What did you learn/develop besides the actual learning matter? Organizing yourself? Creative thinking? Sense for aesthetics? Being able to work in a team? Intercultural communication skills? Finding a solution to problems standing between you and team members? And so on.
If some of this is the case its always good being able to transport your message.
For example just telling you are a good team worker isnt likely to convince anyone, everybody can tell that and hence people hear it a lot. What is convincing is when you can provide examples where you did use your abilities successfully in the past. For example, when you worked in a team and did well and how you were able to solve problems.
Hope, you find this helpful, best wishes!

Well, I know a lot of people find their job through Job Dig.
All you do is enter a keyword(optional), your location, and what job category you would like to work in.
Also it depends on how many weeks/months in you are into the pregnancy.
Most places won't want to hire someone who will be there for a few months and then most likely leave on maternity leave.
well, since you have a degree, it shouldnt be too difficult, as long as you look under that field of work
although its always tough finding that first job...just be diligent. keep going at it & show that your interested.
I got a job through my mom, connections help. I work at an insurance agency as an office assistant.
If you can find a desk job for while you're pregnant that would be best.
And if you decide you really don't want to have a job while you're pregnant then don't get one, it's completely up to you.
WhaAAAT? NO Ninja monkey smiley?
Sometimes it's better to create your own job.
Almost a secret 100% commissions loophole.
