ATTENTION TEST TAKERS! This is where we give out advice about test taking and good study habits. If you are a good test taker, you can share about how you prepare and tell tips! What i do to get good grades is to make flashcards! What do you do when you are studying for a test? (Note: Try to listen to the ones that is most liked ) Remember, 'like' this thread if it helps you! It's also a good idea to wear comfy clothes that day

Well, I usually don't cram for the test in just one night, I spent shorter amounts of time every day, that helps me get sleep and ace my tests x3

Best studying tips I've gotten from my TA this summer are..

- Write out your notes! Write, write, and write. You'll be surprised at how much you remember!
- Read what you've written right before you go to bed. You retain so much more information the next morning.
- Try to re-create your studying environment when you write your test. For example, I normally study in PJs while drinking tea. When I write my exam, I wear the same PJs, drink the same tea, use the same pen, sit in the same position. It helps your remember so much as it reminds you of your study sessions.
- Do not study 2 hours before your exam. Although I see many people doing that, I just sit and wait for it to start because cramming information will only make you forget and/or draw a blank when you start writing and you don't want that.
- Bring a watch! I like to designate a certain amount of time for each section of the test so I don't run out of it. It also helps you focus ..well it helps for me.
- Don't cram or start studying the night before, obviously!

Those are my study tips! Using flashcards is a very good technique when trying to remember definitions. Remember to study it both ways, meaning, word to definition and then definition to word.

But writing is part of the studying process when using flashcards. Typing doesn't do the same amount of justice!

How I study:
-cram before the test.
Works out for me every time

all I do is condense my note over and over again until they fit on a small amount of cue cards
that's it, because I'm writing everything down I start memorizing everything and before I know it, I'm ready for the test
but I also suggest a good nights sleep before test day because rest helps

I recommend having enough rest!
Making flashcards!
Eating breakfast in the morning everyday because it helps you absorb energy.
Review your notes in the morning or something.....kind of like a 'Self-Quiz' or a 'Pre-Test.
And most importantly, GET THE INFORMATION IN YOUR BRAIN ON TEST DAY! Wear comfortable clothes on test day too! It helps you relax! I hope this helps you!
