One Seamless Night

clarity occured in a fluttering moment
when flesh was vacant and speech was void of faith
hushed voices filled the air boasting corrupt atonement
with arrogance and scorned tongue it was heavier to taste



the fruit of my worth sank beneath the earth
as I realized my time was borrowed
and with no partition I was hollow
needles pierce my wordless thoughts and arrogance evade
remind me that there is no tomorrow



i stand unchanged in my expression at this revelry
it was in this silent space that eyes awaken to meet you
my hands shaking with remorse at this irony
the books of time have always held the key
Now I understand what you are to me
and what was felt was never said
so these eyes cry their last
knowing the future was ever present avoiding shadows in my past



Be still and I am yours
my soul to fill so my eyes wont wander
faith steadies my course
I've sprouted wings and left all that remains...
.. in this lonely chair
with hand to chest I'm carried on the back of my savior


my flesh behind in this dark place
whispers "its not fair"
this is MY hour,I've fallen to your grace
and with it,I die
for in one seamless night I have left this place
knowing without your mercy I die precursed to worship fate

your cup has fallen under drought ridden skies
i refuse to let you drink from my soul
while under your umbrella of honey and lies
my greedy eyes blurred the lines of my goal
i've honored the terms of our romance
exchanged morals for bankrupted dreams
not this time will I be made to dance..
no roads paved with silk and moonbeams
unsheltered and naked I am free
but no breeze to cool my fever stained hands
punching holes through images you've left me
searching for new ground to stand
for not one single coin gave me peace
I am an unsatisfiable wo(man)

You've left your scars on my face
from expressions i cant erase
smiles that were misplaced
I've borrowed lace and trim to cover and tape off my sorrow
so dont tempt me with tomorrow
rewind orbit and watch me wallow in my pain
because tomorrow is just a word
hollow and unpreferred
till we meet again and I am lured in
with passion and sin we will break even

in the ashes of my life,i question what once was..what is and which I should trust
then you appear...
causing life where shadows strangle breathe from these parted lips
to sing again...to speak of us


while retribution synced these words to an unbeating heart
you've closed the distance..placing water before roses
making warm what was withered
and with a new day,comes a new start
yesterdays decay becoming tomorrows art

The faces of my past leave with your smile
Dawn breaks glowing with the boundless form of love
attached by the words on my sleeve it appears as an anchor all the while
your hand in mines in a single white glove...
you've saved me again and again


so devour me with your eyes
i would lie a thousand lies just to live a thousand lives ..
wrapped in your stare
I am inappropriately prepared
and nourishing the thoughts
with flourishing gaze fixed upon me
I am washed and painted
I worry for naught,
I hunger for you
So watch...watch me

beautiful dancer

dancing on mirrors of painted devotion we fall face first
ashamed to wait for our senses to follow
we plunge with bodies broken and hearts coerced
desire swells deep in our breast giving footage to ignorance' sway
untouched emotions put naive thoughts to rest
your smile gave your lies away!


Looking at me through glass and stone windows
No emotions to counter the weight
square away all the lies you've exposed
with your memories stained upon my face



prove me wrong
when eyes are alive with the echo of reason that you will not be gone
and as the snake gives birth to treason
dressed in poison behind kiss and song
I see clearly that you were dead wrong


Now I've dressed my wounds with patience
and sought after the truth at hand
lifted the veil of your corruption I am moved to understand
That this beautiful dancer before me was Never really a real man
