The memory, so clear.
The crowd of people watching in awe.
Until the rope..snapped.
I remember the gasps.
The shocked faces.

No one did anything.
They just stood there,
while tears rolled down
my face.

The way she said her last words,
gives me chills.
Why them? I wasn't ready.

My tears gave me blurry vision,
but I could still see a man
looking directly at me.

It rained as I looked at their grave.
The tears ran down harder.
No matter how many battles I have,
they're still with me forever.
