Ring
The very day I got you,
My heart filled up with glee.
I loved the way you felt,
You fit so snugly.

I swore to keep you on my hand,
But now you're gone,
Where did you go?
I do not understand.

I traced my steps,
I looked around,
I let out a sigh of defeat,
You're nowhere to be found.


Lost It
Oh no,no,no!
Where did it go?
Didn't I just have it?

I know sometimes,
I cannot find
Little, unimportant things.

The ring, the ring!
I need it now!
Or Grandmother will be sad.

It was a gift,
From her to me,
I put it on my finger.

What? It slipped off?
It must be here...
Cue the panic attack!

Breathing is hard,
Heart's beating fast,
I don't know what to do.

I'm scared, I'm scared!
I'm not too sure
If I'll ever get it back.

Okay so today I lost a ring that my grandmother have me for my 13th birthday that she got when she was my age. >.< I've got all the teachers at my school keeping an eye out for it, hopefully someone will find it!

I feel really happy but really stupid right now xD I found my ring on my driveway to my house, I'll be more careful with my stuff. Thanks. *facepalm*
