Easiest Ways To Get Recruits

Getting recruits is one of the three ways you can get STAR for life. It is also required if you want a Gold STAR.

By getting 10 new people to level 10 after they sign up to OMGPOP using your recruit link, you'll get yourself STAR for life.

The other ways to get STAR are getting to level 100 or purchasing a Cash pack that comes with STAR.

But what if all your existing friends already are on OMGPOP? Well. There are other ways you can get recruits.

Ok guys, Ill teach you how to get easy fast recruits

Step 1. Go to Omegle

Step 2. start chating to the person (tip-say that your a girl-)

Step 3. Tell them if you want to see what you look like they have to sign up on omgpop.com and go to your profile (because you dont know how to send pics)

Step 4. If they follow you this far ,which most will do then, give them this link and say its you and never talk to them again I know its mean but hey only way you can get a star fast and easy -http://www.omgpop.com/#/profile/Sexy%20girl - your that girl shhh :x

Result. EASY RECRUIT DONE AND DUSTED keep doing that untill you get to 10 or more try more ul get praise and recognition from the [Crews]

O and dont forget to keep giving them 50 xp because they probably wont play again :P

Ah nice! I can't condone the use of fake identities... but I can't count that against anyone who gets recruits. Ideally you'd be honest =D

The way I recruited people was through mIRC or using another gaming community's gaming network, like Steam. Usually many people will assume a website link you give them is a virus, which causes them to be cautious when clicking on any link, and rightfully so. What I recommend is you open a conversation with the person you're planning on sending the link to and convince them that you just found out about the website or you've been on it for a while and describe the games you can play in detail to help them visualize it and make them WANT to play as well.
Another option is to show people you're comfortable gaming around in person.

I think a great way to get recruits is to simply post a link to your OMGPOP in the About Me of a Social Networking site. Maybe even put one in your Signature in the Forums/Insider of an online game (and then of course post on threads; If you don't post, chances are people won't see your signature.)... Anywhere where lots of people are bound to see it. If they've never played OMGPOP, they just might be curious... and your link is right there for the clicking! Why type "omgpop.com" in the Search bar when you've got a direct link to the site right in front of you?

Well, I just got a message saying to come and tell how I got recruits, and I did it the same way Don did besides my real friends who I got to join. I don't think it's the best idea to be lying though, I never lied about my profile or username or anything. Sadly, most of my recruits from Omegle didn't even play but for a couple of days and I ended up having to level them on my own by the "50xp a day" thing. I went about it by just asking if they would be willing to join to help me out, and most of the people I asked were more than willing. I think most people's best bet would be to ask their friends from other game sites to join, it really is kind of time consuming going the Omegle route, and in the end I wasn't very successful (since I had to level them myself!). With that said, if you DO go the Omegle route...Don is right, saying your female will help. It probably would have taken me much longer if I were a guy...since most people on Omegle are guys.

After rereading this it just makes me feel really guilty. Ha!

Okay, so here are 10 different ways to recruit. They are legit and can work.


1. Go on all of your "social networks," or chats like MSN/XAT/AIM/SKYPE/FACEBOOK/YOUTUBE, and message all your friends telling them to join the site, and to come play with you. I've read somewhere on the site that your recruits get even more XP when you play with them, so do that too (this is how I easily got 10 recruits in 1 day, but the thing is my YouTube account has 5,690 subscribers so it was easy).

2. Post a video telling people about OMGPOP and why they'd enjoy it. Use a website like YouTube or Facebook to share with everyone about OMGPOP, when you give the link in the descriptions, be sure that it's your own.

3. Tell a friend in school. If you have a friend who you constantly see playing video games or games on their phone/ipod in school, tell them about OMGPOP. Since OMGPOP has games in different "genres," tell them about the one you think they'd like most. Give them a piece of paper with your link.

4. Tell friends to tell friends.. Sometimes when you recruit someone, they might be nice enough to also share the link with their friends. Try asking them politely to do so and I'm sure you'll get another recruit!

5. Share your game on twitter/facebook. OMGPOP provides a special button that will allow you to post your game on twitter/facebook in seconds. Try hitting it every once in a while and when someone comes to play, maybe they'll like OMGPOP and will sign up!

6. Family members, if you have a lot of siblings in your house, and they're anoying.. Try giving them a shot at OMGPOP, they might like it too and will want to make their own account!

7. Invite friends/family over to your house, or maybe for some vacation and you are all gathered up. Show them OMGPOP and if they like it give them your link. I did this too! But sadly I forgot to give them my link.

8. Leave a message in your descriptions/bios for your social networks. Maybe where they say "about you," leave the OMGPOP link and a short message saying why they should join and what they're missing out on. The discription/bio wouldn't change unless you change it, so it's there for everyone to see whenever! They will eventually click and join!

9. If you have a very popular friend on the internet, try to ask them to post something for you; maybe even get them to sign up?

And finally,

10. Get people titled "lameguest" on OMGPOP to sign up. Give them your invite link and ask them to sign up and play!
