Draw Something for the Kindle Fire?

I've been thinking about this lately. I have a Kindle Fire and it is run by the Android Market, so I would assume Draw Something would be available for it. It's not. So I was wondering if they are even planning to put it out on for the Kindle Fire. Also, I heard something about OMGPOP is working with Amazon on Draw Something in one of Panda's messages? or something?

Does anyone know if they are planning anything for the Kindle Fire or not? I feel it would be much better to play on than my iPhone because the Kindle Fire screen is much bigger

    I honestly don't know.
You might want to have your thread moved to the "Draw Something" section. So that Swiftor can see it and reply back to you. :3

You can play it in your Kindle Fire - there are several people here at OMGPOP who do. I haven't used one myself - but can't you search the market place for it?

I just searched Draw Something, nothing came up. :c
The apps in the store aren't all apps in the Android store though, I think it has to be designed specifically for Kindle Fire. idk. :c I don't see Tiny Tower here either, but they have an app for android devices.

Yeah, it takes from the Android Market, but needs to be compatible for the Kindle Fire.

Hey. Draw Something is nowhere to be found on the Kindle Fire app. Is there a link to download it from a different website?

First off, no, the Kindle Fire does NOT pull from the Android Market. Amazon runs their own Market, and that is the one you have access to on the Fire.

Secondly, yes, it can be found online and sideloaded, but doing so would be of dubiouis legality. But it's out there. (And in-app purchases won't work; keep reading.)

Thirdly, don't hold your breath on it becoming available for the Fire through legitimate means, as it's a game that depends on in-app purchases (buying coins for bombs and colors), and while I cannot state this with 100% certainty, I'm pretty sure Amazon wants enough of a cut on in-app purchases to seriously disincent developers from making their apps Fire-friendly. (This is why the only Zynga apps you can find on the Fire are the ones that handle in-app purchases elsewhere, like WWF and Zynga Poker, and I just looked at Zynga Poker, which is WAY broken.) And enough Fires are flying off of the shelves that Amazon frankly doesn't care if that annoys you or not.

Hey, I just installed Draw Something and Temple Run onto my kindle fire. You have to use a process called sideloading. I made a full tutorial here: http://kindlefiregamer.blogspot.com

Feel free to ask me any questions on there if you need more help.

Any way I could get a link to the .apk from OMGPOP? I don't trust outside links, and I don't care a whole lot about learning how to get the .apk myself. Ahh well, give me a day and I'll probably care enough to try to figure it out.

Never mind, got bored before I went to bed, so I grabbed it. About as easy as I expected.

Edit: For some reason, connecting my Fire to my PC isn't allowing me to transfer files. Note File Expert has a useful fix for this: Network sharing. Sign in to your PC using your Windows credentials, and there's the file!
